* In case of loss of the insured, the amount of twelve average national salaries is paid to the family.The amount is calculated according to average monthly gross wage of IV quarter of 2016 officially published by Statistics Lithuania under the Government of the Republic of Lithuania. Protection amount is recalculated on the 1st April of each calendar year, therefore, protection amount is subject to change once a calendar year during the validity period of the agreement.

** Annual premium – 1.3 percent of life insurance amount. Monthly insurance premium is calculated by dividing annual insurance premium by twelve months.

*** Trauma insurance amount is equal to the amount of life insurance. Annual trauma insurance premium – 0.2 percent of trauma insurance amount. Monthly insurance premium is calculated by dividing annual insurance premium by twelve months.

“Family income protection” is a life insurance service provided by “Swedbank Life Insurance SE”, Lithuanian branch. The agreement is concluded in accordance with the Life Insurance Rules No. 026.

  • The agreement can be terminated at any time without obligation to pay additional fees for termination of the agreement;
  • “Family income protection” is life insurance for ensuring financial protection in case of emergency. Periodic insurance premiums shall not be transferred for investments or accumulation, therefore, upon expiry of the agreement, accumulated amount will not be paid out.
  1. Complete needs evaluation questionnaire;
  2. Review health declaration data and confirm appropriate version;
  3. Fill in the fields in “Family income protection” form;
  4. Check information provided and confirm the conclusion of the agreement;
  5. Consent for direct debit will be submitted when concluding Family income protection agreement. If you choose this payment method, monthly insurance premiums will be debited by direct debit.

Fill in application on Internet bank or call by phone 1884 and make an appointment at the nearest “Swedbank”customer service branch.

Information must be submitted no later than in 30 calendar days after the event.

Please, have your personal identity document and documents supporting the right to insurance indemnity when completing the application at a bank branch:

  • In case of accident (trauma)

    • Document from health care institution providing information about diagnosis, anamnesis, tests and description of treatment prescribed;
    • Extracts from case file describing injuries suffered by the insured, event date, treatment duration and method signed and sealed by the employee of health care institution;
    • Event act, if drawn up in a workplace or police headquarters, court decision;
    • Sickness certificate issued by Lithuanian health care institutions;
    • Other documents supporting the event, if any.
  • In case of loss

    • Death certificate or duplicate thereof verified by the notary;
    • Insurance right certificate, if beneficiary is not appointed by the agreement in case of loss;
    • Event act, if drawn up in a workplace or police headquarters, court decision;
    • Other documents supporting the event, if any.

    Insurance indemnity is paid no later than in 30 calendar days from the date complete information about the event is received.
