A corporate bank account may be opened by the company’s head or his authorised person (according to the power of attorney certified by a notary). To open a bank account please visit any Swedbank customer service branch and conclude an account agreement.

You will also have to submit the Declaration of the Legal Person in the form established by the bank. If you consider that the bank unreasonably requests you to fill in the Declaration of the Legal Person please read detailed information on the implementation of the Know Your Customer principle.

It should be noted that before opening a bank account, in compliance with risk-based assistance seeking to duly implement the Know Your Customer principle in respect of the customer, the Bank may ask a person to provide additional documents (other than aforementioned) and/or additional written explanations.
